DAY 1 DEPART
Departure from the US. Arrive in lively Mexico City, meet your Tour Director, and check in to your hotel.

DAY 2 MEXICO CITY
Participate in a locally guided tour of the capital city, taking in the sights of Zócalo, the Palacio Nacional, and the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Also visit the National Anthropology Museum and Xochimilco, the famous floating gardens. Take part in an ECI Experience Extra of your choice.

DAY 3 MEXICO CITY
Today enjoy an excursion to the ancient city of Teotihuacán, where you will see the legendary Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, and walk along the Avenue of the Dead. Tula, the capital city of the ancient Toltec Indian empire, is also on the agenda. Return to Mexico City for dinner.

DAY 4 OAXACA
Depart for the colonial city of Oaxaca in the morning. Enjoy a walking tour of the historic center, where you will find a lively combination of vendors and street performers. Visit the amazing church of Santo Domingo and the ornate cathedral. You’ll appreciate a free afternoon as you stroll along the pedestrian shopping street, a great place to find Oaxacan silver and textiles.

DAY 5 OAXACA
Enjoy another excursion today. Teotitlán del Valle, the most famous weaving town in Oaxaca, is a fascinating destination. In Mitla, you’ll see the hot water mineral springs and a famed archeological site.

DAY 6 OAXACA
Explore Monte Alban, an ancient city built high up on a leveled hilltop. Arrazola, known for its many painters and woodcutters, will be the next stop. This is a great place to find some wonderful souvenirs. Pick up some fantastic bargains at the pottery markets of San Bartolo Coyotepec! Participate in an ECI Experience Extra of your choice.

DAY 7 MEXICO CITY
Set out this morning for colonial Puebla, with its many museums and mansions. On your way back to Mexico City, visit Cholula, founded more than 2500 years ago and home to the largest pyramids in Mexico. Climb to the top of the Great Pyramid and visit the Church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios. Return to Mexico City for your last night in this sunny country.

DAY 8 HOME
Depart for the U.S.
