From Kayaking to Cheese Tasting
ECI prides itself on offering the most personalized cultural and educational adventure for your students. A key component of our programs is the inclusion of our unique Experience Extras. Carefully crafted by our expert local coordinators, they are designed to build lasting memories based upon genuine cultural interaction.
Paint a picture in Provence, taste tapas in Toledo…whatever you choose, our goal is the same: to make sure your students truly live the language and culture… while having the time of their lives!
Our Experience Extras include, but are definitely not limited to:
- Art classes
- Cooking classes
- Dance classes
- Historical re-enactments
- Horseback riding
- Host family dinners
- Kayaking
- Language Partner sessions*
- Music events and/or workshops
- Theater events and/or workshops
- Unusual walking tours
- Wine and/or cheese tasting
To each trip you can add (at no extra cost) a minimum of two Experience Extras to enrich and complement your program. The above activities are just a few examples of what we can offer. Alternatively, you may have your own ideas. Let your imagination be your guide!
*Language Partners are usually university students who work to enrich your program by providing the group with plenty of opportunities for integration into the community and practice in the target language. Time may be devoted to going to museums, going to the theater or to concerts, going out for coffee or dancing, visiting the beach, and meeting local teenagers.
